كشورداري را مي‌توان عمل پيوند حكمراني، اداره امور عمومي و فعاليت‌هاي عملياتي روزمره در ساحت‌هاي مختلف يك كشور ناميد كه به هدف تأمين، حفظ و ارتقاي زندگي مادي و معنوي مردمان آن كشور انجام مي‌شود. ميزان موفقيت امر كشورداري در گرو رويكردي است كه حاكمان، دولتمردان و مديران براي اعمال حكمراني و مديريت در پيش مي‌گيرند. در اين نوشته تمركز بر فهم رويكرد منفعلانه به كشورداري، پيشآيندها و پسآيندهاي آن است تا دلالت‌هايي براي كشورداري به سبك ايراني را احصا كنيم.

statemanship can be called the act of linking governance, managing public affairs and daily operational activities in different areas of a country, which is done with the aim of providing, maintaining and promoting the material and spiritual life of the people of that country. The success of the statemanship depends on the approach that rulers, statesmen and managers take to govern and manage. In this article, the focus is on understanding the passive approach to statemanship, its pros and cons, in order to identify the implications for Iranian-style statemanship.
