Investigating The Issue Of Polygamy an‎d Its Relationship With Female Nature

يكي از دلايل جاودانگي وجامعيت اسلام، تطابق احكام آن با فطرت بشري است. برخي افراد اين شبهه را مطرح كرده اند كه جواز تعدد زوجات تا چهار همسر، با فطرت زن و حس انحصارگرايي او كه تمايلي به حضور همسر دوم در كنار خويش ندارد، مغاير است. پژوهش حاضر با روش توصيفي- تحليلي، با مطالعه منابع تفسيري و روايي فريقين وبررسي آيات و روايات ناظر بر مساله، درپي دست يابي به پاسخ صحيح بوده و به اين نتايج دست يافته است: با توجه به اهميتي كه اسلام براي حفظ بنيان خانواده در نظر گرفته، بناي اسلام بر تك همسري است و تعدد زوجات، به منظور حفظ جامعه از انحطاط و فساد در موارد ضرورت، تشريع شده و اين حكم مغايرتي با فطرت زنانه ندارد. حس انحصارگرايي كه در زنان نسبت به همسرشان وجود دارد، در راستاي حفظ كانون خانواده بوده و اين مساله درآيات قرآن كريم مورد توجه قرار گرفته است.

One of the reasons for the immortality and comprehensiveness of Islam is the conformity of its rules with human nature (Fitrah). Some people have raised the doubt that allowing polygamy up to four wives is contrary to the nature of the woman and her sense of exclusivity, who is reluctant to see a second wife for her husband. The present study, with a descriptive-analytical method, by studying the interpretive sources and narrations of the two sects and examining the verses and narrations on the issue, has sought to obtain the correct answer and has reached the following results Given the importance that Islam considers for maintaining family foundation, Islam is based on monogamy and polygamy has been legislated in order to protect the society from degeneration and corruption in cases of necessity, and this law does not contradict the female nature. The sense of exclusivism that women have towards their husbands is in order to maintain the family, and this issue has been considered in the verses of the Holy Quran.
