اخبار حضرت سكينه در كتب تاريخ و ادب از ابهامات، تحريف ها، اكاذيب و اتهاماتي برخوردار است كه از نام، نسب، سن و ازدواج ايشان گرفته تا ميادين شعر و ادب؛ حتي وفات او را شامل مي شود. اين مقاله با استناد به منابع ادبي و تاريخي و بهره گيري از قرآن و احاديث، بخشي از اخبار حضرت سكينه كه به نام، نسب، و سن ايشان مربوط مي شود را در بوته تحليل و نقد قرار داده، به نتايجي معقول، منطقي و قابل قبول دست يافته كه با عرف غلط شايع در برخي جوامع ديني و ادبي مسلمانان متفاوت است؛ ولي با واقعيت ادبي و تاريخي منطبق بوده، حفظ شيونات خاندان حسيني و شخصيت هاي حاضر در صحنه كربلا را در بر دارد. رفع اشتباه دايره المعارف اسلامي در باره جد مادري حضرت سكينه، تلفظ صحيح نام سكينه و عمر نسبتا دقيق ايشان در سفر كربلا، از جمله دستاورد هاي اين پژوهش مي باشد.

some reports about hazrat Sakineh in history and literature books has mixed up with some ambiguities, distortions, lies and accusations ranged from her name, lineage, age and marriage to poetry and literature even her death. Citing literary and historical sources and using the Qur'an and hadiths, this article analyzes and evaluates a part of reports related to her name, lineage, and age, and draws reasonable, logical and acceptable conclusions that differs from the common misconception in some Muslim religious and literary communities; But it is in line with the literary and historical reality and preserves the honors of the family of imam Husayn and the personalities present in the scene of Karbala. maternal ancestor, correct pronunciation of Sakineh's name and her relatively accurate life time in the trip to Karbala are among the achievements of this research.
