The Conceptual Challenge of Convergence in the Digital Age; Conceptualization of "Comprehensive Communicative Cyber Convergence"

ظهور اينترنت، پيشفرض‌ها را در هستي‌شناسي رسانه جمعي به چالش كشيد. از همين رو، دانشمندان در دهه‌هاي اخير به صرافت جدي جهت بازسازي مفهومي رسانه‌گونگي اينترنت افتاده‌اند. يكي از خطوط مفهومي اخير، كليدواژه‌اي پركاربرد به نام «همگرايي» است. سؤال اصلي آنست كه منظور از همگرايي در عصر ديجيتال چيست و آيا نوعي اجماع نخبگاني نسبت به مفهوم آن وجود دارد؟ يا برعكس اين واژه از «تشتت مفهومي» رنج مي‌برد؟ اگر پاسخ به سؤال اول مثبت است، آيا مي‌توان تعريفي جامع از اين واژه ارائه كرد؟ يافته‌ها از طريق روش مقايسه دائمي نشان مي‌دهد مفهوم‌پردازي اين واژه،‌ «واگرا و متشتت» است. به نظر مي‌رسد در يك رويكرد جامع ارتباطي، مي‌توان همگرايي را مستولي بر اكثر عناصر ارتباطي دانست. آنچه به عنوان تعريف جامع از همگرايي تحت عنوان «همگرايي ارتباطي جامع مجازي (هاجم)» پيشنهاد مي‌شود عبارت است از: «فرايند تقارب و يكپارچگي در 1-عمل ارتباط (ميان فرستنده و گيرنده)، 2-ابزار ارتباط (ميان رسانه‌هاي همگاني)، 3-پيام ارتباط (ميان ديداري و شنيداري)، 4-سطوح ارتباط (ميان ارتباط جمعي و غير جمعي) و 5-كاركرد ارتباط (ميان اطلاع‌رساني، آموزشي و سرگرمي) است كه 6-بر اثر ديجيتال شدن (يكپارچگي بين سه زيرساخت نظام داده‌ها (فناوري اطلاعات)، ارتباطات دور و رسانه ها) در رسانة اينترنت به وقوع پيوسته است.»

The advent of the Internet has challenged some assumptions in mass media ontology. One of the conceptual lines introduced is the widely used keyword called "convergence". Now the main question of this article is what is meant by convergence on the Internet and is there a kind of relative elite consensus on its meaning? Or, conversely, does it suffer from "conceptual fragmentation"? If the answer to the first question is yes, can a comprehensive definition of the term be provided? Findings of this study show that the conceptual space of this word is "divergent and fragmented What is proposed as a comprehensive definition of convergence is called " Comprehensive Communicative Cyber Convergence "(4Convergence): "The process of convergence and integration in 1-communication operation (between sender and receiver), 2-communication tool (between mass media) 3- Communication message (between visual and audio), 4- Levels of communication (between mass and non-mass communication) and 5- Function of communication (between information, education and entertainment) which is 6- Due to digitalization (integration between Three infrastructures of data systems (information technology, telecommunications and media)) have taken place in the Internet media."
