ايران و عراق، دو كشور همسايه با اشتراكات متعدد بوده و هستند كه روابط پر فراز و نشيبي داشته و حتي در تاريخ روابط خود، يك دوره جنگ را هم تجربه كرده اند. پس از سال 2003 با سقوط رژيم بعث و حضور شيعيان و اكراد در ساختارهاي قدرت عراق، با پر رنگ شدن نقش اشتراكات دوكشور فصل جديدي در روابط ايران و عراق بخصوص در زمينه همكاري هاي اقتصادي بويژه در بخش انرژي ايجاد شد.اين مقاله به بررسيهمگرايي اقتصادي دو كشور در حوزه انرژي خواهد پرداخت و بدنبال پاسخ به اين پرسش است كه اشتراكات مذهبي، فرهنگي، اقتصادي، سياسي و امنيتي ايران و عراق چه نقشي در شكل گيري همگرايي اقتصادي دو كشور در حوزه انرژي داشته اند؟ براي پاسخ به اين پرسش ضمن بهره گيري از آمارها و داده هاي مستند، از روش توصيفي، تحليلي استفاده شده و هدف آن است كه ابعاد مختلف شكل گيري همگرايي اقتصادي ايران و عراق مورد بررسي قرار گيرد. نتيجه كلي مقاله نشان مي دهد كه اشتراكات مذهبي، فرهنگي، اقتصادي، سياسي و امنيتي ايران و عراق باعث نزديك شدن ديدگاه هاي سران دو كشور در جهت همراستايي منافع و شكل گيري و تدوام همگرايي اقتصادي دو كشور در حوزه هاي مختلف از جمله انرژي شده است.

Iran and Iraq, two neighboring countries with many commonalities, have had ups and downs, and even experienced a period of war in the history of their relations. After the fall of the Ba'athist regime in 2003 and the presence of Shiites and Kurds in the Iraqi power structures, with the highlighting of the role of the two countries commonalities, a new chapter was started in the relations between Iran and Iraq, especially in terms of economic cooperation, especially in the energy sector. Therefore, this article will examine the economic convergence of the two countries in the field of energy. an‎d it seeks to answer the question of what role religious, cultural, economic, political and security commonalities between Iran and Iraq have played in shaping the economic integration of the two countries in the field of energy? To answer this question, while using statistics and documented data, a descriptive and analytical method has been used and the aim is to examine the various dimensions of the formation of economic integration between Iran and Iraq. The overall conclusion of the article also shows that the religious, cultural, economic, political and security commonalities between Iran and Iraq have brought the views of the leaders of the two countries closer together to align the interests and to form and continue the economic integration of the two countries in various fields, including energy.
