خاورميانه به عنوان منطقه استراتژيكي از مناطق بحران زا است كه به علت جغرافياي سياسي خاص و منافع ملي قدرتهاي بزرگ همواره دچار چالش و تنش بوده است . از آنجايي كه ايران در اين منطقه قرار دارد و امنيت ملي مهمترين خواسته يك دولت - كشور است با گزينش داده هاي مهم مي توانيم تا حدود زيادي ، بحران در اين منطقه را پيش بيني كنيم . از انجاييكه اطلاعات و داده ها مهمترين ابزار يك تحليل گر است كه با ان بتواند برخي وقايع و بحران ها را تحليل و بيش بيني كند در اين مقاله به داده هايي اشاره كردهايم كه به ما كمك مي كند تا بحران در منطقه را بيش بيني كنيم كه ؛ عبارتند از جايگاه جنبش هاي سياسي در منطقه خاورميانه و وابستگي آن به يكي از قدرت هاي بزرگ ، جغرافياي سياسي ،منافع ملي قدرت هاي بزگ و جايگاه اين قدرتهاي بزرگ در روابط بين المللي كنوني ازجمله داده هاي قابل تامل است و همچنين ساختار سياسي و حقوقي و برخي از تيوري هاي روابط بين الملل و كنوانسيونهاي بين المللي از جمله داده هايي است كه در پيش بيني بحران در منطقه موثر مي باشند .
