رسالت ايران‌ شناسي: دولت – ملت ايراني يا جهان ايراني (شكل‌ گيري دانش ايران‌ شناسي ايراني در اواخر قرن نوزدهم و اوايل قرن بيستم ميلادي)

The duty of Iranology: Iranian nation - state or the Iranian world (the formation of Iranology in the late 19th and early 20th century)

جهان ايراني در بر گيرندۀ مجموعه ­اي از اقوام، آداب و رسوم، ادبيات و تاريخ است كه گسترۀ جغرافيايي وسيعي را در بر مي ­گيرد. از قرن هجدهم با حضور استعمارگران غربي در شرق، اين پهنه نيز تحت تأثير تغييرات بنيادي در فرهنگ آن قرار گرفت در نتيجه خودآگاهي فرهنگي ميان ملل مختلف جهان ايراني با هويت ملي پيوند يافت. از اين رو انديشمندان ايراني اگرچه از بايگاني شرق­شناسي وام گرفتند ولي در انتخاب گزاره ­هاي خود متأثر از وقايع جامعۀ خويش بودند. در اين پژوهش با كمك روش ديرينه­ شناسي روند شكل ­گيري دانش ايران­ شناسي بررسي مي­ شود. نتايج تحقيق نشان داد: دانش ايران­ شناسي اگرچه خودآگاهي فرهنگي ايرانيان را با كمك ابزارهايي مانند انتشارات و آموزش تقويت كرد ولي با پرداختن به موضوع شناخت ايران ملي، فرهنگ را در راستاي مليت به كار گرفت و ايرانيان در قرن بيستم تاريخ مشترك و زبان فارسي را در راستاي هويت ملي باز توليد كردند.

In East nationalism is known as a movement against imperialism and for self- protection. This movement influences the Iranian World – the World which had one cultural and political literature at least in urban societies and elites – and ties the concept of nation to concepts like race, language, territory and history. For nation- building, the Iranian World intellectuals uses new European scientific methods and knowledge. They find it more appropriate for their nation-states’ benefits. Applying new methods developed a new scientific literature that emerged the knowledge of Iranology. This article is used the archaeology of knowledge to study the texts, which introduced Iranian Studies at its early emergence. The hypothesis is even Iranology discourse in Iran is impressed by Orientalism archives, it is affected by the Iranian World’s political and social context. So Iranology appears when Iranian society interacts with modern changes in Iranian World and needs an Iranian identity. Then Iranology actuate Iranian cultural identity to a national cultural identity.
