ضرورت بازنگري در آموزش رشته بهداشت عمومي

The Need to Review Public Health Education

منظور از فعاليت هاي بهداشت عمومي فراهم آوردن شرايطي است كه مردم بتوانند سالم باشند. اين امر نيازمند مشاركت ساير بخش ها و جامعه است، اما تربيت نيروي انساني بهداشت عمومي در كشور ما پيرامون برخي بيماري ها و مراقبت هاي بهداشتي مادر و كودك بوده است. خدمات دانش آموختگان بهداشت عمومي در كشور از نوع مراقبت فردي است، حال آن كه مطابق تعريف و مصاديق آن در كشورهاي پيشرفته، خدمات بهداشت عمومي بايد مبتني بر جمعيت باشد. توجه به نياز واقعي جامعه و كاركنان نظام بهداشتي نيز نشان مي دهد كه لازم است در بستر طرح تحول آموزش و بحث آموزش پاسخگو و مبتني بر نياز جامعه، كوريكولوم آموزشي اين رشته با تفكيك به آموزش مراقبت هاي فردي و آموزش خدمات بهداشت عمومي به منظور تربيت دو گروه جداگانه از نيروهاي سلامت مورد بازنگري قرار گيرد.

The purpose of public health activities is to provide conditions in which people can be healthy that requires the participation of other sectors and the community. But in our country, the training of public health personnel has been mainly focused on some diseases and maternal and child health care. Services provided by public health graduates are focused on individuals, while public health services, according to its definition and examples in developed countries, should be population-based. According to the real needs of the community and health staff, it is necessary, in the context of the education transformation plan and in line with responsive and community-based education, to revise the curriculum of this field, by emphasizing training individual care and public health services in order to train two separate groups of health professionals.
