Expansion of Iran and Midlle Asia Relations ; Presentation of Strategies

Middle Asia as a part of Iranian civilization, has a particular position in the Iran Islamic Republic foreign policy. The existence of relations and associations including historical and cultural aspects between Iran and Middle Asian countries, also a great potentials of oil and gas, a suitable market for Iranian goods and the most important reason is the land-locked situation of this region gives a good opportunity to Iran to offering her transportation way to get appropriate interests economically. This led to suitable fields for developing their mutual interests. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union and birth of CIS, most of the regional and international powers concerned to this region, intentionally or unintentionally. The weakening of the Russian influence has produced a potential vacuum for the regional and international powers to extend their interests to compete with each other. The author seeks to explain how it is possible to reach a regional integration between Iran and Middle Asian countries and examine possible strategies in this respect.
