Canteras Cerro Negro, now part of the Argentinian group Sociedad Comercial del Plata, has long been a pioneer in the Argentinian construction materials market. First established in 1896, in 2015 the group acquired LOSA Ladrillos Olavarría, Cormela and Superglass to become one of Argentina’s leading brick producers, the largest manufacturer in the roof tile segment and a major player in the sectors of extruded pavers, ceramic and porcelain floor and wall tiles, glass and raw materials. Its manufacturing facilities are located in the provinces of Buenos Aires (Olavarría, Campana and Pacheco) and Córdoba.
