چكيده فارسي :
كوكسيديوييدوميكوز ريوي يك عفونت در ريه است كه توسط قارچ كوكسيديوييدز ايجاد مي شود. اين بيماري در هند بسيار نادر است و تنها تعداد كمي از موارد تاكنون گزارش شده است. تشخيص كوكسيديوييدوميكوز ريوي بسيار چالش برانگيز است زيرا از ساير عفونت هاي دستگاه تنفسي تحتاني تقليد مي كند. هر دو شبهه باليني و تاييد آزمايشگاهي نقش بسيار مهمي در تشخيص اين عفونت ايفا مي كنند و در محيط هاي محدود منابع تنها كشت و ميكروسكوپ نقش حياتي در تشخيص دارند. تشخيص زودهنگام به درمان مناسب كمك مي كند تا از عوارض بعدي جلوگيري شود.
چكيده لاتين :
Pulmonary coccidioidomycosis is an infection in the lungs caused by the fungus Coccidioides. The disease is very rare in India and only a few cases have been reported so far. The diagnosis of pulmonary coccidioidomycosis is very challenging because it mimics other lower respiratory tract infections. Both clinical suspicion and laboratory confirmation plays a very important role in the diagnosis of this infection and in resource limited settings only culture and microscopy play a vital role in the diagnosis. Early diagnosis helps in appropriate therapy to avoid later complications.
