افكار خودكشي در مبتلايان به مولتيپل اسكلروزيس: يك مطالعه مرور سيستماتيك

Suicidal ideation in patients with multiple sclerosis: a systematic review

مولتيپل اسكلروزيس يك بيماري مزمن، غير قابل درمان و خود ايمني در سيستم عصبي مركزي با پاتوفيزيولوژي نامشخص است. تظاهرات باليني اين بيماري متعدد و شامل نقايص حسي و حركتي، اختلالات رواني همچون افسردگي و اضطراب مي باشد. هرچه اين بيماري بيشتر بر زندگي روزمره و توانايي آن ها تأثير بگذارد، بيشتر در معرض افكار خودكشي قرار مي گيرند. منظور از افكار خودكشي وجود افكار درگير كننده در ارتباط با تمايل به رفتار پايان دهنده زندگي فرد است. اين پژوهش يك مطالعه مروري منظم است كه با هدف بررسي عوامل مرتبط با افكار خودكشي در مبتلايان به مولتيپل اسكلروزيس انجام شد. به همين منظور پايگاه هاي اطلاعاتي بين المللي Pubmed، Web Of Science، Scopus و سه پايگاه داخلي شامل پايگاه اطلاعات علمي جهاد دانشگاهي، بانك اطلاعات نشريات كشور و Iranmedex با كليد واژه هاي مولتيپل اسكلروزيس، افكار خودكشي، عوامل مرتبط و افسردگي و معادل انگليسي آن ها مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است. نتيجه اين كه با بررسي عوامل مرتبط با افكار خودكشي، خصوصا افسردگي و اصلاح و يا تعديل آن، مي توان شيوع افكار خودكشي و به تبع آن اقدام به خودكشي را در اين بيماران كاهش داد.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic incurable autoimmune disease of the central nervous system with unknown pathophysiology. Clinical manifestations of this disease are numerous and include sensory and motor defects, mental disorders such as depression and anxiety. The more this disease affects their daily lives and abilities, the more they are exposed to suicidal thoughts. Suicidal ideation refers to the existence of conflicting thoughts about the tendency to end one's life behavior. This study is a regular review study with the aim of investigating the factors related to suicidal ideation in people with MS. For this purpose, the international databases of PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and three domestic databases, including the scientific database of Jihad Daneshgahi, the database of Iranian journals and Iranmedex with the keywords Multiple Sclerosis, Suicidal Ideation, Depression ,Thoughts of death and neurological disease, are examined. It can be concluded that by examining the factors related to suicidal ideation, especially depression and correcting or modifying them, the prevalence of suicidal ideation and consequently suicide attempt in these patients can be reduced.
