بررسي آگاهي و عملكرد دانشجويان سال آخر دندانپزشكي يزد در رابطه با تشخيص و درمان ضايعات اندو-پريو در سال 1399

Evaluation of Yazd dental students’ awareness and practice regarding diagnosis and treatment of endo-perio lesions in 2020

كمبود اطلاعات دندانپزشكان در زمينه تشخيص و درمان ضايعات اندو-پريو يكي از دلايل اصلي خارج كردن دندان ها مي باشد. با توجه به اهميت اين موضوع ،مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسي آگاهي و عملكرد دانشجويان سال آخر دندانپزشكي شهر يزد پيرامون افتراق ضايعات اندو-پريو و درمان موثر اين ضايعات انجام گرفت. مواد و روش ها مطالعه حاضر از نوع توصيفي-مقطعي بود. ابزار مورد استفاده در اين مطالعه پرسشنامه اي محقق ساخته و سه قسمتي شامل: اطلاعات دموگرافيك دانشجويان (سن، جنس و معدل كل)، 14 سوال در رابطه با آگاهي دانشجويان نسبت به تشخيص افتراقي ضايعات اندو-پريو و 4 سوال عملكردي در اين زمينه بود. داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار آماري SPSS نسخه 17 و آزمون آماري T-test وANOVA و ضريب همبستگي پيرسون، تجزيه و تحليل شدند. سطح معني داري در اين مطالعه 0/05 در نظر گرفته شد. يافته ها از 52 داﻧﺸﺠﻮي ﺷﺮﮐﺖ ﮐﻨﻨﺪه در ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﻪ، 23 ﻧﻔﺮ )44/23%( ﻣﺮد و 29 ﻧﻔﺮ )55/76%( زن ﺑﻮدﻧﺪ. ﻣﯿﺎﻧﮕﯿﻦ ﺳﻨﯽ ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪ ﻫﺎي ﻣﻮرد ﺑﺮرﺳﯽ 25/19±2/09 ﺑﺎ داﻣﻨﻪ ﺗﻐﯿﯿﺮات 23-36 ﺳﺎل ﺑﻮد. ﺑﻪ ﻃﻮر ﻣﺘﻮﺳﻂ ﺷﺮﮐﺖ ﮐﻨﻨﺪﮔﺎن 60/2% از ﻣﯿﺰان آﮔﺎﻫﯽ ﻣﻮرد ﻧﻈﺮ را دارا ﺑﻮدﻧﺪ. ﺑﯿﻦ ﻣﯿﺰان آﮔﺎﻫﯽ داﻧﺸﺠﻮﯾﺎن ﺑﺎ ﺳﻦ ارﺗﺒﺎط آﻣﺎري ﻣﻌﻨﯽ دار ﻣﺸﺎﻫﺪه ﺷﺪ )0/028=P(. ﺑﯿﻦ ﻣﯿﺰان آﮔﺎﻫﯽ داﻧﺸﺠﻮﯾﺎن ﺑﺎ ﺟﻨﺲ )0/734=P( و ﻣﻌﺪل ﮐﻞ )0/237=P( و ﻫﻤﭽﻨﯿﻦ ﺑﯿﻦ ﻣﯿﺰان ﻋﻤﻠﮑﺮد آن ﻫﺎ ﺑﺎ ﺳﻦ )0/949=P(، ﺟﻨﺲ )0/061=P( و ﻣﻌﺪل كل )0/284=P( ارﺗﺒﺎط ﻣﻌﻨﯽ دار آﻣﺎري ﻣﺸﺎﻫﺪه ﻧﺸﺪ. نتيجه گيري بر اساس نتايج مطالعه حاضر ميزان آگاهي و عملكرد دانشجويان دندانپزشكي مورد مطالعه نسبت به تشخيص و درمان ضايعات اندو-پريو به ترتيب در سطح خوب و متوسط بود. پيشنهاد ميگردد در جهت ارتقاي آگاهي و عملكرد دانشجويان در اين زمينه مداخلات آموزشي و راهكارهاي مناسب اتخاذ گردد.

Lack of dentists' information about the diagnosis and treatment of endo-perio lesions is one of the main reasons for dental removing. Considering the importance of this issue, the present study aimed to investigate the knowledge and practice of senior dental students in Yazd about differentiation of endo-perio lesions and effective treatment of these lesions. Material and Methods: The present study was descriptive-cross-sectional. The instrument used in this study was a researcher-made and three-part questionnaire including: demographic information of students (age and sex), 14 questions that assessed student's knowledge about differential diagnosis of endo-perio lesions and 4 performance questions in this regard. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 17, T-test, ANOVA statistical test and Pearson correlation coefficient. The significance level in this study was 0.05. Results: In this study, out of 52 students that participated, 23 (44.23%) were male and 29 (55.76%) females. The mean age of the samples was 25.19±2.09 with the age range of 23-36 years. On average, participants had 60.2% knowledge. There was a significant relationship between students' knowledge and age (P-value=0.028). There was no significant relationship between students' knowledge and sex (P-value=0.734), total GPA (P-value=0.237) and also between their performance and age (P-value=0.949), sex (P-value=0.061) and total GPA (P-value=0.284). Conclusion: According to the results of this study, the knowledge and practice of studied dental students regard diagnosis and treatment of endo-perio lesions was moderate. It is recommended that educational interventions and appropriate strategies be adopted to promote students' knowledge and practice.
