چكيده فارسي
زﻣﯿﻨﻪ و ﻫﺪف: دﯾﺎﺑﺖ، ﯾﮏ ﺳﻨﺪرم ﻣﺘﺎﺑﻮﻟﯿﮑﯽ اﺳﺖ ﮐﻪ ﺑﻪﻃﻮر ﻓﺰاﯾﻨﺪهاي درﺣﺎل ﺟﻬﺎﻧﯽ ﺷﺪن اﺳﺖ. اﻣﺮوزه ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﺎت زﯾﺎدي ﺑﺮاي ﺗﻌﯿﯿﻦ اﺛﺮات ﺿﺪﻫﺎﯾﭙﺮﮔﻼﯾﺴﻤﯿﮏ ﻣﺤﺼﻮﻻت ﮔﯿﺎﻫﯽ اﯾﻤﻦ و ارزان از ﺟﻤﻠﻪ دارﭼﯿﻦ ﻣﺘﻤﺮﮐﺰ ﺷﺪه اﺳﺖ. اﯾﻦ ﭘﮋوﻫﺶ ﺑﻪ دﻟﯿﻞ ﺗﻨﺎﻗﺾ در ﻧﺘﺎﯾﺞ ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﺎت ﮔﺬﺷﺘﻪ، ﺑﺎ ﻫﺪف ﺑﺮرﺳﯽ ﺗﺄﺛﯿﺮ دارﭼﯿﻦ در دوزﻫﺎي ﻣﺨﺘﻠﻒ ﺑﺮ ﮔﻠﻮﮐﺰ ﺧﻮن HbA1C و ﻣﻘﺎوﻣﺖ اﻧﺴﻮﻟﯿﻦ در اﻓﺮاد دﯾﺎﺑﺘﯽ ﻧﻮع 2اﻧﺠﺎم ﺷﺪ. ﻣﻮاد و روشﻫﺎ: اﯾﻦ ﮐﺎرآزﻣﺎﯾﯽ ﺑﺎﻟﯿﻨﯽ ﺗﺼﺎدﻓﯽ دوﺳﻮﮐﻮر، ﺑﺮ روي 69ﺑﯿﻤﺎر دﯾﺎﺑﺘﯽ ﻣﺮد و زن، ﺑﺎ ﻣﯿﺎﻧﮕﯿﻦ ﮔﻠﻮﮐﺰ ﺧﻮن ﻧﺎﺷﺘﺎ 44 /30±202 /16 ، درﺷﻬﺮ زاﻫﺪان اﻧﺠﺎم ﺷﺪ. آزﻣﻮدﻧﯽ ﻫﺎي ﻣﻮردﭘﮋوﻫﺶ ﺑﻪ ﺳﻪ ﮔﺮوه )دو ﮔﺮوه ﻣﺪاﺧﻠﻪ درﯾﺎﻓﺖﮐﻨﻨﺪه دارﭼﯿﻦ ﺑﺎ دوزﻫﺎي 2و 4 ﮔﺮم و ﮔﺮوه ﮐﻨﺘﺮل( ﺗﻘﺴﯿﻢ ﺷﺪﻧﺪ. آزﻣﻮ دﻧﯽﻫﺎ روزاﻧﻪ 4ﮐﭙﺴﻮل ﺑﻪ ﻣﺪت 12 ﻫﻔﺘﻪ درﯾﺎﻓﺖ ﻣﯽ ﮐﺮدﻧﺪ. ﭘﺲ از 8ﺳﺎﻋﺖ ﻧﺎﺷﺘﺎﯾﯽ، ﻧﻤﻮﻧﻪ ﺧﻮن ورﯾﺪي در ﺷﺮوع ﻣﺪاﺧﻠﻪ و ﻫﻔﺘﻪﻫﺎي 4، 8 و 12 ﺑﺮاي اﻧﺪازه ﮔﯿﺮي ﺷﺎﺧﺺ ﻫﺎي ﮔﻠﻮﮐﺰ ﺧﻮن ﻧﺎﺷﺘﺎ، ﻣﻘﺎوﻣﺖ اﻧﺴﻮﻟﯿﻦ و HbA1Cﮔﺮﻓﺘﻪ ﺷﺪ. از آزﻣﻮن ﻫﺎي ANOVA ﯾﮏ ﻃﺮﻓﻪ وRepeated Measurement و ﻧﺮم اﻓﺰار SPSS ﺑﺮاي ﺗﺠﺰﯾﻪ وﺗﺤﻠﯿﻞ دادهﻫﺎ اﺳﺘﻔﺎده ﺷﺪ. ﯾﺎﻓﺘﻪﻫﺎ: در ﭘﺎﯾﺎن ﻫﻔﺘﻪﻫﺎي 8و12 ﮐﺎﻫﺶ آﻣﺎري ﻣﻌﻨﺎداري در ﻣﯿﺎﻧﮕﯿﻦ ﮔﻠﻮﮐﺰ ﺧﻮن ﻧﺎﺷﺘﺎ، HbA1Cو ﻣﻘﺎوﻣﺖ اﻧﺴﻮﻟﯿﻨﯽ در ﮔﺮوه ﻫﺎي ﺗﺠﺮﺑﯽ )درﯾﺎﻓﺖ ﮐﻨﻨﺪه دارﭼﯿﻦ 2 و 4 ﮔﺮم در روز( در ﻣﻘﺎﯾﺴﻪ ﺑﺎ ﮔﺮوه ﮐﻨﺘﺮل دﯾﺪه ﺷﺪ ) 0 /001< P(. ﻫﻤﭽﻨﯿﻦ در ﭘﺎﯾﺎن ﻫﻔﺘﻪ 12ﻧﯿﺰ در ﻣﺘﻐﯿﺮﻫﺎي ﮔﻠﻮﮐﺰ و HbA1C ﺑﯿﻦ دو ﮔﺮوه ﺗﺠﺮﺑﯽ درﯾﺎﻓﺖ ﮐﻨﻨﺪه دارﭼﯿﻦ ﻧﯿﺰ اﺧﺘﻼف آﻣﺎري ﻣﻌﻨﺎدار ﻣﺸﺎﻫﺪه ﮔﺮدﯾﺪ )0 /001 < P(. ﻧﺘﯿﺠﻪ ﮔﯿﺮي: ﻣﺼﺮف ﻃﻮﻻﻧﯽ ﻣﺪت دارﭼﯿﻦ ﺑﺎ دوز ﺑﺎﻻ ﺑﻪﻋﻨﻮان ﯾﮏ ﻣﮑﻤﻞ درﻣﺎﻧﯽ ﮐﻢ ﺧﻄﺮ، ﺑﺮاي ﮐﻨﺘﺮل ﻗﻨﺪ ﺧﻮن و ارﺗﻘﺎي ﺳﻼﻣﺖ اﻓﺮاد ﻣﺒﺘﻼ ﺑﻪ دﯾﺎﺑﺖ، ﻣﺆﺛﺮ ﻣﯽ ﺑﺎﺷﺪ.
چكيده لاتين
Diabetes is a metabolic syndrome that is increasingly globalized. Many studies are currently focused on the anti-hyperglycemic effects of safe and harmful herbal products including cinnamon. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of cinnamon on blood glucose, HbA1C, and insulin resistance in type 2 diabetic patients because of inconsistency in the results of previous studies.
Materials and Methods: This double blind randomized clinical trial was performed on 69 male and female diabetic patients with mean fasting blood glucose level of 202.16 ± 44.30 in Zahedan, Iran. Subjects were divided into three groups (two groups receiving cinnamon recipients with doses of 2 and 4 g and control group). Subjects received 4 capsules daily for 12 weeks. After 8 hours of fasting, blood samples were taken at the beginning of the intervention and weeks 4, 8 and 12 were measured to measure fasting blood glucose, insulin resistance and HbA1c. One-way ANOVA and Repeated Measurement and SPSS software were used to analyze the data.
Results: At the end of week 8 and 12, a statistically significant decrease in mean fasting blood glucose, HbA1C and insulin resistance was observed in the experimental groups (Cinnamon 2 and 4 g daily) compared to the control group (P <0.001). Also at the end of week 12, the glucose and HbA1C variables were significantly different between the two experimental groups receiving cinnamon (P <0.001).
Conclusion: Long-term consumption of high-dose cinnamon is effective as a low-risk supplement for controlling blood glucose and improving the health of people with diabetes.
