Methodology and Ethics of Citation A Critique on the Book “Abd-ol-Hoseyn Zarinkoub’s Lectures of Literary Criticism”

روش‌شناسي پژوهش ادبي به‌ويژه در حوزة استناد، پيوندي ژرف با اخلاق پژوهش دارد. به‌عبارت ديگر، اشكالات روش‌شناختي مي‌توانند خطاهاي اخلاقي را نيز در پي داشته باشند. در مقالة حاضر، كتاب درس‌گفتارهاي نقد ادبي عبدالحسين زرين‌كوب از همين منظر مورد نقد قرار گرفته است. مرز مبهم ميان گفتار نويسنده و گفتار نقل‌شده از منابع اين كتاب، از مهم‌ترين اشكالاتي است كه در اين مقاله بر آن تكيه شده است. اين ابهام، ابعاد گوناگوني دارد كه مهم‌ترين آنها يكسان‌انگاريِ منابع و يكسان‌انگاري مفاهيم و اصطلاحات تخصصي هستند. به عبارت ديگر، به دليل محو تمايز ميان گفتار نويسنده و منابع، استناد به منابع مختلف به شكلي است كه گويي هيچ تفاوتي ميان اين منابع با يك‌ديگر، و همچنين ميان ديدگاه نويسنده با آنها وجود ندارد. اين امر موجب نوعي بديهي‌انگاري در تعريف مفاهيم اصلي نيز شده است. در پايان نيز نشان داده‌ايم كه اين خطاي روش‌شناختي پيامدها و لغزش‌هاي اخلاقي آشكاري نيز داشته است.

Methodology of literary research in the subject of citation is in relation to research ethics. In other words, the methodological mistakes can be followed by the moral ones. This paper, in this regard, critics the book “Abd –ol -Hoseyn Zarinkoub’s Lectures of Literary Criticism” by Ahmad Khatami. One of the emphasized points in this article is the ambiguous boundary between the author’s speech and his sources. This ambiguity has various dimensions including equivalence of sources and equivalence of main concepts and terms. In other words, as elimination of the distinction between the author and sources in citations of this book, as if there was no difference between author’s view and sources, and even among sources. The result of this point is the naturalization in the definition of main concepts and terms. In the end, it is argued that the methodological mistake has had obvious moral consequences and faults.
