بررسي انتقادي كتاب فلسفۀ مشاء 1 (از ارسطو تا توماس آكوئيني)

A Critical Review on the Book “Peripatetic Philosophy (1) (from Aristotle to Thomas Aquinas)”

«فلسفه مشاء (1) (از ارسطو تا توماس آكوئيني)» براي آشنايي نوآموزان رشته‌هاي فلسفه با مكتب مشاء تأليف شده است. مزيت اصلي اين اثر توجه به هر دو شاخه غربي و اسلامي اين مكتب است. مؤلف به‌طور كلي قصد دارد فلسفه مشاء را از دو جهت معرفي كند؛ تاريخي و محتوايي. با وجود اين‌كه اثر مختصري است، اما اين حجم اندك مانع نشده كه مؤلف دامنه گسترده فلسفه مشاء را ناديده بگيرد. به همين دليل با ملاحظه آثار مشابه فعلا بهترين كتاب درسي براي آشنايي با فلسفه مشاء در مقطع كارشناسي است. البته اين سخن بدين معنا نيست كه با متني خالي از عيب و ايراد مواجهيم. برعكس، اشكالات و نواقص كتاب اندك‌شمار هم نيست . لذا مجموع اين عوامل مثبت و منفي مهم و برجسته باعث‌شده تا نقد و بررسي تفصيلي آن ضرورت پيدا كند. در اين مقاله، ضمن توجه به مزاياي اين اثر، انواع نقاط ضعف آن را برشمرده‌ايم. اين اشكالات در چهار دسته جاي مي‌گيرند؛ ساختاري، محتوايي، ادبي و ارجاعات. در نهايت راه‌كارهايي براي ارتقاء كتاب و رفع نواقص آن به عنوان يك منبع درسي پيشنهاد شده است.

The book “Peripatetic philosophy (1) (from Aristotle to Thomas Aquinas)” is an introductory work for undergraduates in philosophy. The prominent merit of this work is taking into consideration of this important philosophical school. The main Advantage of this book is regarding two big philosophical domains: western philosophy and Islamic one. The compiler of the book is seeking to lay down the Peripatetic school historically and substantially (especially in the ontology). In spite of its little content, the book includes all domains of peripatetic philosophy. Therefore, it is now the best one for an introduction to this philosophical school in bachelor degree who study western or Islamic philosophy in universities of our country. In this article, I mention the merits and also point to some deficiencies in it. Problems are classified in four categories: structure, content, edition and reference. Eventually, some mechanisms were proposed for the promotion and perfection of the book to become a better source.
