چكيده فارسي :
كاشان از ديرباز، در شمار مهم‌ترين مراكز شيعه‌نشين در ايران و در رديف نخستين حوزه‌هاي علمي جهان تشيع بوده كه در عرصه‌هاي گوناگون علمي، فرهنگي، اجتماعي، سياسي و...، نقش بسيار مهمي را در طول تاريخ ايفا كرده است. ازاين‌رو در دوره‌هاي بعد، اين شهر خاستگاه عالمان بزرگ و برجسته‌اي شد كه از اين ميان مي‌توان به شخصيت پرفروغ فقيه سترگ، حكيم متأله، اديب فرزانه و رجالي بزرگ، آيت‌الله سيد محمد علوي بروجردي(ره) اشاره كرد كه با خدمات ارزندۀ علمي و تأليف آثار ارزشمند و تربيت انديشمندان بزرگ، توانسته‌اند نقش مهمي را در دورۀ خود ايفا كنند. پژوهش حاضر با رويكرد تاريخي و روش اسنادي كتابخانه‌اي و تا اندازه‌اي هم مبتني بر تحقيقات ميداني و منابع خبري شفاهي انجام گرفته است و بيشتر سعي شده تا نه‌فقط مهم‌ترين ابعاد زندگي ايشان براي مخاطبان معرفي و تبيين شود بلكه آيندگان، آثار گران‌سنگ اين عالم فرزانه را بازخواني، شرح، تصحيح و تعليق كنند و از حيث تربيتي نيز الگوي مناسبي براي نسل‌هاي آتي معرفي شود.

Kashan, asone of the most important Shiite centers in Iran and one of the first science headquarters in the Shiite world, has played a very important role in various fields including scientific, cultural, social, political, throughout the history. Therefore, in later periods, this city became the birthplace of great and prominent scholars, among whom the great jurist, and rijali, Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Alavi-Boroujerdi. with valuable scientific services and authorship of valuable works and training of great thinkers, he has been able to play an important role in his period, which coincided with the worst socio-political conditions in the Qajar and Pahlavi eras; The present study has deployed a historical approach and a library method along witha field research while including oral sources to analyze the scientific, cultural, social life, and relics of this wise man. Not only are the most important aspects of his life introduced and explained to the audience, but also a chabce has been provided for posterity to read, describe, correct, and suspend his precious works while, in terms of education, a suitable model can be introduced.
