پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناسايي، تبيين ابعاد، مولفه ها و شاخص‌هاي عملكرد پژوهشي اعضاي هيات علمي دانشگاه آزاد اسلامي شهر تهران انجام شد. روش: پژوهش با رويكرد كيفي، به روش تحليل مضمون انجام شد. نمونه‌گيري به صورت هدفمند، و مصاحبه با خبرگان تا حصول اشباع نظري استمرار يافت. براي تعيين چارچوب منطقي از داده‌ها، مراحل شناسايي، يادداشت‌برداري و طبقه بندي مفاهيم انجام شد. دسته‌ها بازبيني و موارد تكراري حذف، موارد مشابه ادغام و ابعاد موضوع مشخص و سطح‌بندي شدند. روش تجزيه وتحليل داده‌ها با تكنيك تحليل مضمون از كدگذاري باز، محوري و انتخابي انجام شد. سپس به منظور سنجش اعتبار مدل، با ده نفر از خبرگان هيات علمي در قالب يك گروه كانوني در ابعاد، مولفه‌ها و شاخص‌هاي مدل، هم‌انديشي و توافق صورت گرفت. يافته‌ها: يافته‌ها نشان داد، مدل استخراج شده داراي 9 بعد، 25 مولفه و تعداد 80 شاخص براي ارزيابي عملكرد پژوهشي اعضاي هيات علمي است. نتايج نشان داد شاخص‌هاي خلاقيت، ابتكار و نوآوري جزء مولفه‌ها و ويژگي‌هاي شخصيتي است و در بعد فردي قرار دارد. نتيجه گيري: مدل ارائه شده مي‌تواند در ارزيابي عملكرد پژوهشي اعضاي هئيت علمي دانشگاه آزاد اسلامي و رفع مشكلات و موانع احتمالي موجود و ارتقاي خلاقيت و ابتكار آن مطلوب باشد.

The aim of this study was to identify, explain the dimensions, components and indicators of research performance of faculty members of the Islamic Azad University of Tehran. Method: The research was conducted with a qualitative approach, using content analysis method. Purposeful sampling, and interviews with experts continued until theoretical saturation was achieved. To determine the logical framework of the data, the steps of identification, note-taking and classification of concepts were performed. Categories were reviewed and duplicates were deleted, similar items were merged, and subject dimensions were identified and leveled. Data analysis method was performed by thematic analysis technique of open, axial and selective coding. Then, in order to assess the validity of the model, an agreement was reached with ten faculty experts in the form of a focus group on the dimensions, components and indicators of the model. Results: The results showed that the extracted model has 9 dimensions, 25 components and 80 indicators to evaluate the research performance of faculty members. The results showed that the indicators of creativity, initiative and innovation are among the components and characteristics of personality and are in the individual dimension. Conclusion: The proposed model can be desirable in evaluating the research performance of faculty members of the Islamic Azad University and eliminating possible problems and obstacles and promoting its creativity and initiative
