زمينه: با توجه به گذشت 7 سال از آغاز طرح تحول نظام سلامت و لزوم ارزيابي ميزان انطباق اين خطمشي با نيازها و سياستهاي كلان جامعه، هدف پژوهش به بررسي چگونگي ادامه اجراي اين خطمشي به صورت حفظ وضع موجود، اصلاح و يا خاتمه خطمشي طراحي گرديد. روش: اين پژوهش با رويكردي كيفي و با هدف كاربردي انجام شده است. با استفاده از مطالعات كتابخانه اي به جمع آوري مستندات لازم در حوزه پژوهش پرداخته شد. سپس مصاحبه هاي نيمه ساختاريافته با 15 نفر از خبرگان و كارشناسان حوزه سلامت، در قالب روش تحليل تم و مدل خاتمه خطمشي كي يه، تجزيه و تحليل شد. يافته ها: با توجه به اينكه طرح تحول سلامت قسمت عمده اي از ايدئولوژي انتخاباتي دولت يازدهم و دوازدهم ميباشد و از پشتوانه حمايتهاي قانوني، معنوي و همچنين تقاضاي جامعه برخوردار است، موجب ادامه اجراي خطمشي حداقل تا پايان دولت مستقر خواهد شد. نتيجه گيري: با توجه به تجزيه و تحليل انجام شده بر اساس مدل كي يه اين طرح براي ادامه، نيازمند تغيير و اصلاح در خطمشي ميباشد. برخي اصلاحات شامل: اجراي پرونده الكترونيك، نظام ارجاع و پزشك خانواده، تدوين گايدلاينهاي پزشكي، توجه به حوزه پيشگيري و بهداشت روان، تمركز بر انظباط مالي ميباشد. بازنگري در طرح تحول نظام سلامت و اصلاح اين خطمشي موجب تطابق بين نيازهاي واقعي كشور و برنامه هاي اجرايي در راستاي تحقق اهداف كلان و حل مسائل عمومي خواهد شد.
