خانم كارول پيرسون با توجه به نظرات يونگ مبني بر تأثير كهنالگوها در سفر تفرد بشري، دوازده كهن الگوي شخصيت را مطرح كرد و اين سفر را به شكل سه مرحلۀ سفر قهرمان يعني: تدارك، سفر و بازگشت توصيف كرد و به اين نتيجه رسيد كه هر انساني با قرار گرفتن در اين سفر و با هدايت و راهنمايي كهن الگوهاي دوازدهگانه ميتواند به خويشتن حقيقي خود دست يابد. يكي از داستانهاي دلانگيز در ادبيات فارسي داستان سلوك بهرام گور در هفت پيكر نظامي است كه كاملاً منطبق با مراحل سه گانۀ خودشناسي و تفرد در روانشناسي پيرسون است كه ميتواند به عنوان الگويي براي از بين بردن تضاد زندگي انسان معاصر امروز معرفي شود. در اين داستان قهرمان (بهرام) با راهنمايي و تكامل كهن‌الگوهاي معصوم، يتيم، جنگجو و حامي، براي سفر اسطوره اي آماده مي‌شود و با انرژي كهن‌الگوهاي جستوجوگر، عاشق، ويرانگر و آفريننده در آرمانشهر گنبدهاي هفتگانه، جهان دروني خود را مي‌كاود و به خويشتن حقيقي دست مي‌يابد و در بازگشت با ياري كهن‌الگوهاي حكمران، ساحر، فرزانه و لوده، قلمرو پادشاهي خود و جهان بيرون را دگرگون مي‌كند و به روشن‌بيني و رستگاري دست مي‌يابد.

According to Jung's views on the influence of archetypes on the journey of human individuality, Ms. Carol Pearson presented twelve archetypes of personality and described this journey as three stages of the hero's journey: preparation, travel and return. It turned out that every human being can reach his true self by being on this journey and with the guidance of the twelve archetypes. One of the heartwarming stories in Persian literature is the story of Bahram Gore's behavior in the seven military bodies, which is completely consistent with the three stages of self-knowledge and individuality in Pearson's psychology, which can be introduced as a model for eliminating the contradiction of contemporary human life. Be. In this story, the hero (Bahram) prepares for a mythical journey with the guidance and evolution of archetypes (innocent, orphan, warrior, patron) and with the energy of archetypes (seeker, lover, destroyer, creator) in the utopia of the seven domes, his inner world. Explores and achieves true self, and in return, with the help of archetypes (ruler, sorcerer, sage, looter), transforms the realm of his kingdom and the outside world, and attains enlightenment and salvation.
