از نظر حضرت آيت الله امام خامنه‌اي (مدظله العالي) كه از ايشان مي‌توان به عنوان يكي از برجسته ترين دانشمندان تاريخ اسلام نام برد، هدف و غايت انسان در جامعه، رسيدن به تعالي روحي در بستر يك جامعه مدني عدالت محور و رحم گستر است. از نظر ايشان، براي تحقق اين مهم بايد يك به يك مراحل چينش سنگ بناي تمدن سازي را گذراده و براي افراد جامعه، زندگي تؤامان با آرامش و آسايش را فراهم كرد. تحقق جامعه اسلامي در يك بسته پنج مرحله اي، در پله چهارم قرار دارد. رهبر معظم انقلاب معتقدند براي رسيدن به يك جامعه اسلامي، نخست بايد مراحل انقلاب اسلامي، نظام اسلامي و دولت اسلامي را پشت سر گذاشت و با تحقق جامعه اسلامي آخرين گام را براي تمدن فراگير و جهاني اسلام است برداشت. پس از وقوع انقلاب اسلامي باشكوه در سال 57 به رهبري امام خميني(ره) و تشكيل جمهوري اسلامي، عملا دو مرحله از مراحل پنجگانه ذكر شده محقق شد؛ اما تحقق سه گام بعدي نيازمند عزمي راسخ و تلاشي مضاعف در ذيل توجهات خداوند متعال و قائم آل محمد حضرت مهدي(عج) مي‌باشد.

After the glorious Islamic Revolution in 57 led by Imam Khomeini and the formation of the Islamic Republic, two of the five stages mentioned were actually achieved; But the realization of the next three steps requires a firm determination and redoubled effort under the attention of God Almighty and the successor of prophet Muhammad, imam Mahdi (as).
