A look at the place of ecotourism in Iran

بوم ­گردي، به صورت يك مسافرت مسئولانه به مناطق طبيعي است كه محيط زيست را حفظ و زندگي راحت مردم محلي را تثبيت مي­ نمايد. به عبارتي، بوم­ گردي با اهداف چند جانبه يعني حفاظت از محيط زيست، احترام به جوامع محلي و ارتقاي مؤلفه ­هاي فرهنگي- اجتماعي و اقتصادي جامعه ميزبان سروكار دارد كه اين اهداف هم ­خوان با مفهوم توسعه پايدار است. از طرف ديگر، بوم ­گردي يكي از مؤلفه ­هاي اصلي در شكل گيري و توسعه اقتصاد پايدار به­ شمار مي­ آيد. موقعيت جغرافيايي ويژه و تنوع پديده هاي طبيعي باعث شده تا ايران به عنوان پنجمين كشور داراي تنوع طبيعي جهان شناخته شود. اين در حالي است كه علي ­رغم برخورداري از جاذبه هاي طبيعي فراوان، بوم­ گردي كشور با مشكلات و موانع گوناگوني در جذب گردش­گر مواجه بوده كه مانع از گسترش آن شده است. بر اين اساس، در اين مقاله سعي گرديده تا حد امكان پس از تعريف بوم ­گردي به بررسي فرصت ­ها، چالش ­ها و ارائه راهكارهاي موثر براي توسعه بوم ­گردي كشور پرداخته شود.

Ecotourism if considered as a responsible trip to natural areas will preserve the environment and establishes a comfortable life for local people. In other words, ecotourism deals with multifaceted goals of environmental protection, respect for local communities and promotion of socio-cultural and economic components of the host community, which align with the concept of sustainable development. On the other hand, ecotourism is one of the main components in the formation and development of a sustainable economy. The special geographical location and diversity of natural phenomena have made Iran the fifth country in terms of natural diversity in the world. However, despite having many natural attractions, the country's ecotourism has faced various problems and obstacles in attracting tourists, which has prevented its expansion. Accordingly, in this article, as much as possible, after defining ecotourism, the opportunities, challenges and effective solutions for the development of ecotourism in the country are examined.
