چكيده فارسي :
نزاع افلاطون با شاعران و حكم به اخراج آنها از مدينه فاضله را از مطالعه جمهوري به‌خوبي مي‌توان دريافت. او در كتاب سوم جمهوري به تعيين بايدها و نبايدها در خصوص شعر مي‌پردازد و تعيين مي‌كند كه چه اشعاري بايد براي جوانان خوانده شوند و چه اشعاري نبايد خوانده شوند. اين نقد تند و تيز افلاطون به شعر و شاعري، امروزه به نوعي مي‌تواند ساختار هنري رسانه‌هاي جمعي مانند تلويزيون و سينما را نيز دربرگيرد. به نظر افلاطون واكنش‌هاي ما در برابر اتفاقات مختلف زندگي روگرفتي از واكنش‌هاي ما در برابر شعر هستند. همين امر، امروزه درخصوص تلويزيون نيز صادق است. تلويزيون صرفاً يك ابزار انتقال و پخش است و هيچ وسيله تازه‌اي براي تفسير هنري واقعيت ارائه نمي‌دهد. به عبارت ديگر، تلويزيون جهان را آنگونه كه هست تصوير مي‌كند و به ما ارائه مي‌دهد، يا به تعبير افلاطوني، صرفاً روگرفتي از صورت ظاهر آن را عرضه مي‌كند و در نتيجه، چنانكه افلاطون درباره شعر تأكيد مي‌كند، در برنامه‌هاي تلويزيوني نيز تقليدها بر جاي واقعيت مي‌نشينند. در اين جستار تلاش خواهيم نمود تا با تبيين ديدگاه افلاطون در خصوص هنر شاعري، آنگونه كه در جمهوري بيان شده است، به نقد افلاطونيِ رسانه‌هاي جمعي در روزگار حاضر بويژه تلويزيون بپردازيم.
چكيده لاتين :
The quarrel between Plato and the poets in the Utopia and try to exclude them from there is a very important subject in the Republic. He in the book III explains the limits for poems and determines the poems that can be read for youths and the poems that cannot be read for them. This radical Platonic approach to the poets and their poems can be linked today to the many different media especially TV and its programs. In Plato's view, our reaction to the different events in the everyday life is a copy of our reaction to the poem. This problem is today linked to the TV and other social media like cinema. TV in only an instrument for distribution and transmission, and does not present any new method for interpreting reality. In another word, TV only present reality as it is and TV is like the Platonic poet in this respect. We can recite the Platonic objection on poem, also on the TV and its functions. In the present article we will try to survey the nature and the functions of TV by the Platonic method of critiquing poets in the Utopia.
