رمان، درمقام مهم­ترين شكل ادبي دوران مدرن، به روايت سرگذشت انسان مسئله­دار و توصيف جريان­هاي اجتماعي مي­پردازد. تحليل شخصيت و وضعيت قهرمان مسئله­دار در رمان را نخست جرج لوكاچ و سپس لوسين گلدمن مطرح كرد. از منظر اين رويكرد، كاركرد اصلي رمان، جستجو و ورايت تباهي انسان در جامعۀ مدرن است، چراكه اين تباهي پيوندهي ناگسستني با ساختارهاي اجتماعي مدرنيته دارد. رمان به­مثابه گونۀ ادبيِ همزاد مدرنيته پابه­پاي تحّولات جامعۀ مدرن تحول مي­يابد و قهرمان آن همان فرد معمولي است كه در متن زندگي روزمرۀ مدرن با مسايل و معضلات اين عصر دست و پنجه نرم مي­كند. جمال ميرصادقي نويسنده­اي است واقع­گرا كه آثارش بازتابي از حوادث و وقايع تاريخي است و مي­توان شاخصه­هاي شخصيت پروبلماتيك را به­طور خاص در دو رمان­ او، درازناي شب و كلاغ­ها و آدم­ها، مشاهده كرد. اين پژوهش به شيوه­اي تحليلي-توصيفي و با بهره­گيري از نظريۀ گلدمن به بررسي مهم­ترين ويژگي­هاي شخصيت پروبلماتيك در اين دو رمان مي­پردازد. نتايج تحقيق نشان مي­دهد كه قهرمان، در هر دو رمان­­، شخصيت پروبلماتيكي است كه بنا به ويژگي­هايي چون فرديت، پيروي از ارزش­هاي راستين، مخالفت با اجتماع و درحاشيه­بودن شاهد تباهي ­ارزش­هاي­ راستين در جامعه است و در نهايت تداوم همين مسير مرگ او را درمقام انساني مسئله­دار رقم مي­زند.

This research examines the most important characteristics of problematic personality in an analytical-descriptive manner. The most important research findings are the problematic personality in each of the novels, which according to characteristics such as individuality, following true and opposite values, and marginalization and destruction of true values ​​lead to the death of the hero and are known as problematic people.
