درباره تعريف عدالت و شيوه‌هاي اجراي آن هميشه بحث‌هاي فراوان و پيچيده وجود داشته و در كشور ما نيز خصوصاً پس از انقلاب، درباره آن مناقشه و اختلاف بوده است. در اين مقاله، عدالت اجتماعي به معناي «رعايت تناسب و استحقاق» و «ايجاد فرصت‌هاي برابر براي افراد جامعه» در نظر گرفته شده است. در بخش‌هاي گوناگون سند الگوي اسلامي ايراني پيشرفت، موضوع عدالت مورد توجه ويژه قرار گرفته و در آن به‌طور گسترده به ابعاد گوناگون عدالت، اعم از عدالت الهي و بشري، عدالت فردي و اجتماعي، عدالت اقتصادي، سياسي، قضايي، جنسيتي، فضايي، توزيعي، مالياتي، بين‌نسلي و... پرداخته شده است؛ اما با توجه به اختلاف ‌نظرهاي طولاني در كشور در خصوص شيوه تحقق عدالت اجتماعي، از منظر سپردن اقتصاد به دولت يا مردم، راه‌حل صريح و روشن ارائه نشده و از اين زاويه، اين سند از ويژگي تفسيربردار نبودن برخوردار نيست.

In this article, social justice is meant to mean "observance of proportionality and merit" and "creating equal opportunities for members of society." In various parts of the document of the Iranian Islamic model of progress, the issue of justice has been given special attention and it has been widely considered in various dimensions of justice, including divine and human justice, individual and social justice, economic, political, judicial, gender, spatial, distributive justice. , Tax, inter-generational, etc. have been paid; However, due to the long-standing differences in the country regarding the method of achieving social justice, from the perspective of entrusting the economy to the government or the people, a clear solution has not been provided and from this point of view, this document is not interpretable.
