غيبت امام و عدم دسترسي مستقيم امت به امام و آماده‌سازي جامعه شيعي براي ورود به دوره غيبت حضرت مهدي عج از جمله مسائلي است كه نيازمند ايجاد مقدمات توسط امامان به ويژه امامان متأخر (ابناء الرضا) مي‌باشد. هر چقدر به آغاز اين دوره از فصل جديد كه همان عدم دسترسي مستقيم شيعيان به امام خود نزديك‌تر مي‌شويم. شرايط براي امامان آماده‌ساز اين مرحله مشكل‌تر به نظر مي‌رسد. تحقيق پيش ‌رو درصدد پاسخ به اين پرسش اصلي است كه نقش امام حسن عسكري ع در آماده‌سازي جامعه شيعي براي عصر غيبت حضرت قائم عج به چه ميزان و چگونه بوده است؟ نتيجه توصيف و تحليل متون تاريخي و حديثي، در بررسي فعاليت‌ها و آموزه‌هاي امام حسن عسكري ع فرضيه نويسنده را تأييد مي‌كند كه امام حسن عسكري ع با توجه به شرايط موجود جامعه و عصر حاكم به عنوان آخرين امام در اين دوره نقش مهمي در ترسيم و تبيين درست زواياي مختلف غيبت حضرت مهدي عج و آماده كردن شيعيان قبل از آغاز دوره غيبت داشتند.

The absence of Imam and impossibility of access to Imam for followers and preparation of Shia society for entering the period of Imam's absence are some of the main causes which necessitates founding some elements by Imams, mostly by Imam Hassan Askari. As much as we approach the time in which the direct connection between Imam and followers gets tougher, the circumstances for preparing Imams gets more difficult. The following research answers a very important question: what was the role of Imam Hassan Askari in preparing Shia society for the absence period? The conclusion of explanation and historical analysis of narrative sources concerning Imam Hassan's activities and narrations affirms the author's hypothesis that Imam Hassan had a remarkable role in explaining the important matters about Imam Mahdi's Absence and preparing the followers before the arrival of absence period.
