امنيت و عدالت از بنيادي‌ترين نيازهاي انسان در زندگي است. از اين رو برپايي امنيت و عدالت، نخستين چشم‌داشت انسان‌ها از حاكمان و نيز همواره شعار بسياري از حكومت‌ها بوده و است. و نيز از برجسته‌ترين شاخصه‌هاي پيشرفت و تمدن به شمار مي‌آيد. هر سرزميني كه دو عنصر كليدي امنيت و عدالت در آنها فراگير نشده باشد، هرگز به تمدني استوار و ماندگار دست نخواهد يافت. در دولت حضرت مهدي عج كه نويد تمدني جهاني بر پايه آموزه‌هاي وحياني را دارد، نيز اين دو اصل جايگاه ويژه‌اي دارد، به گونه‌اي كه در بسياري از رواياتي كه درباره ظهور حضرت ولي‌عصر عج صادر شده به اين نكته نيز اشاره شده است. به همين جهت است كه عبارت «يملأ الارض قسطاً و عدلاً» براي كسي كه كمترين مطالعه در زمينه آموزه‌هاي مهدوي را داشته باشد، عبارت آشنايي است. در اين نوشتار با بهره‌مندي از سخنان معصومان عهم به نقش امنيت و عدالت در برپايي تمدن مهدوي پرداخته شده است كه نتيجه استوار آن، نقش جدّي اين دو در شكل‌گيري و استمرار آن تمدن بزرگ اسلامي خواه بود.

In this article, the role of security and justice in the establishment of the Mahdavi civilization has been discussed with the benefit of the words of Masooman. The solid result of which was the serious role of these two in the formation and continuation of that great Islamic civilization.
