Khayyam and the Problem of Determinism and Free Will

The main purpose of this paper is to present a short overview of Khayyamʹs ideas concerning the problem of determinism and free will in general, and the relationship between Godʹs eternal knowledge and manʹs freewill in particular. In order to present a clear picture of Khayyamʹs views, the writer has briefly referred to the important theological and philosophical approaches in this regard, too.
