Studying the relationship between apprehension towards husband's infidelity and body management among the married woman in Tehran

هدف اين مقاله شناخت رابطه احساس ترس از خيانت همسر و مديريت بدن در زنان متاهل تهراني است كه با روش كيفي نظريه مبنايي انجام گرفت. روش نمونه گيري "نمونه'گيري نظري"بوده و با 25 زن متاهل تهراني مصاحبه عميق و نيمه-ساخت يافته صورت پذيرفت. با مطالعه روايات و مصاحبه ها ،مفاهيم در كدگذاري طبقه بندي شدو كدهاي محوري استخراج شد و هر كدام دركدگذاري گزينشي ذيل مقوله اي جاي گرفت. همچنين پديده ،"هراس از كم توجهي"نام گذاري گرديد. در اين پژوهش سوال اصلي كه پي گرفته شد اين بود كه آيا احساس ترس از خيانت همسر تاثيري بر مديريت بدن زنان متاهل دارد.تلاش زنان در به دست آوردن منزلت و عامليت در عرصه خانواده و اجتماع با محدوديت هاي فرهنگي و اجتماعي مواجه است . زنان از طريق خدمات شايسته اي كه انجام مي دادند توجه را به دست مي آوردند، ولي امروزه زنان با اعمال تغييرات در بدن‌شان و نيز با پذيرش پيامدهاي منفي آن، جلب توجه و تمايزيابي مي كنند.

Studying the Relationship between Apprehension towards Husband’s Infidelity and Body Management among the Married Women in Tehran A. Adhami and M. Emami The present article aims to study the relationship between apprehension of husband’s infidelity and body management among the married women in Tehran, Iran. Based on qualitative grounded theory, we conducted in-depth semi-structured interviews with 25 subjects, all married living in Tehran. The concepts inherent in the narratives and anecdotes were extracted from the interviews and then codified into concrete categories which were ultimately classified under certain pivotal codes. These pivotal codes were distilled into certain selected codes which showed a phenomenon we called “fear from inattention and unseen.” Our main question in this study was whether apprehension of husband’s infidelity had any influence on women’s body management.Our subjects’ status and agency in their families and societies were faced with cultural and social constraints. We concluded that the subjects of the study had already tried to attract others’ attention and make themselves distinct by managing their bodies and even accepting its possibly harmful consequences.
