ساختن براي بشر يك ضرورت است و در اين رابطه ساختن ساده‌ترين بناها نيز به يك سري تصميم‌گيري نياز دارد. بر اين اساس روح معماري توسط مردم رشد ميكند. انسان اين را كشف كرد كه تصميماتي كه در طراحي يك ساختمان اتخاذ مي‌نمايد، وراي برآوردن نيازهاي زندگيش، بين او و ساختمان رابطه‌اي مي‌آفريندكه به اين زندگي معني ميدهد. تمام معماري كلا به محيطي كه مردم در آن زندگي، و وجود خود را در آن مي‌يابند، حالت ميدهد. از اينرو راهبردهايي جهت مناسب سازي اين محيط ها در برابر جرايم وجود دارد تا اين فضاها را به يك فضاي شهري پويا و مناسب تبديل كند. يكي از اين راهبردها پيشگيري طبيعي از جرم از طريق طراحي محيطي(CPTED) است. روش پژوهش تحليلي و توصيفي مي باشد. نظريه پيشگيري از جرم از طريق طراحي محيطي تأكيد دارد كه با بهينه سازي فرصت هاي نظارت، تعريف مشخص و واضح از قلمرو و ايجاد تصويري مثبت از محيط مي توان مجرمان را از ارتكاب جرم بازداشت. بنابراين برخي مشخصات كالبدي و اجتماعي در وقوع جرم مؤثر است و مي‌توان با تغيير ساختار فضا اعم از نحوه نورپردازي معابر، افزودن بر پويايي و تحرك فضا از طريق قرار دادن مراكز فرهنگي، ورزشي، تفريحي و گذران اوقات فراغت در مناطق و محلات شهري، طراحي مناسب ساختمان‌ها و شهرسازي با برنامه، طراحي و مهندسي مناسب محيط و منظر، همچنين حضور و نظارت پليس و به‌كارگيري تجهيزات، ابزار و فناوري‌هاي نوين در مقاطع زماني خاصي بر يك مكان ويژه، مي‌توان از وقوع بزهكاري پيشگيري نمود.

Construction is a necessity for human beings, and in this regard, the construction of the simplest building requires a series of decisions. Accordingly, the spirit of architecture grows by the people. Man discovered that the decisions he makes in designing a building, beyond meeting the needs of his life, create a connection between him and the building that gives meaning to this life. The whole architecture gives shape to the environment in which people live, and find their existence. Therefore, there are strategies to adapt these environments to crime to make these spaces a dynamic and appropriate urban space. One of these strategies is natural crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED). The research method is analytical and descriptive. The theory of crime prevention through environmental design emphasizes that by optimizing monitoring opportunities, a clear definition of the territory and creating a positive image of the environment, criminals can be prevented from committing crime. Therefore, some physical and social characteristics are effective in the occurrence of crime and can be designed by changing the structure of the space, including the lighting of passages, adding dynamism and mobility of the space by placing cultural, sports, recreational and leisure centers in urban areas and neighborhoods. Suitable for buildings and urban planning With appropriate planning, design and engineering of the environment and landscape, as well as the presence and supervision of the police and the use of new equipment, tools and technologies at certain times in a particular place, crime can be prevented.
