بررسي و نقد مفهوم واژۀ مجنون در تفاسير قرآني

Examining and Criticizing the Meaning of the Word of "Majnoon" (Insane) in Quranic Interpretations

مجنون يكي از واژه‌هاي به ‌كار رفته در قرآن كريم و از جمله صفاتي است كه كفار قريش به پيامبر اسلام(ص) نسبت داده‌اند. مطالعه و بررسي اغلب تفاسير قرآني نشان مي‌دهد كه اين واژه در اكثر تفاسير قرآني در معنا و مفهوم «جن‌زده»، «ديوانه» و نيز كسي كه عقل او زايل شده، به كار رفته است. تأمل در فرهنگ و ادبيات عرب قبل از اسلام، فرهنگ و ادبيات ايران و ساير ملل نشان مي‌دهد كه اين واژه معناي متفاوت با ديدگاه تفاسير قرآني داشته و معادل مفاهيمي چون «شاعر» و «كاهن» به كار رفته‌ است. اين نوشتار سعي دارد با بررسي بعضي از تفاسير برجسته شيعه و سني و نيز توجه به بسترهاي فرهنگي و ادبي عرب جاهلي، ادب و فرهنگ ايران و جهان، به تبيين مفهـوم واقعي اين واژه، ارتباط آن با دو واژه كاهن و شاعر و نيز دلايل متهّم بودن پيامبر اسلام(ص) به اين صفت بپردازد.

Majnoon (insane) is one of the words used in the Holy Quran and one of the words that the infidels of Quraysh have attributed to the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). The study of most Qur'anic commentaries shows that this word has been used in most Quranic commentaries in the meaning of “haunted”, “crazy” and also someone whose intellect has disappeared. Reflections on pre-Islamic Arabic culture and literature, Iranian culture and literature, and other nations show that the word has a different meaning from the perspective of Quranic interpretations and is equivalent to concepts such as “poet” and “priest”. This article tries to explain the true meaning of this word, its connection with the two words priest and poet, as well as the reasons of the accused, by examining some prominent Shiite and Sunni interpretations and also paying attention to the cultural and literary contexts of pre-Islamic Arabia, literature and culture of Iran and the world. Being the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) address this attribute.
