اين متن شرحي است بر كلام اميرمؤمنان علي (ع) در باب اوصاف شيعيان واقعي. آن حضرت ايمان را بر چهار ستون و پايه قرار داده كه عبارتند از: صبر، يقين، عدل و جهاد. در جلسات گذشته سه ركن نخست و ارتباط اين چهار ركن را با يكديگر و تأثير آنها را در تقويت ايمان بيان كرديم. اكنون به بررسي و تفسير آن ركن چهارم از منظر آن حضرت، يعني جهاد مي‌پردازيم. حضرت در اين زمينه مي‌فرمايند: «والجْهِادُ مِنْهَا عَلَى أَرْبَعِ شُعَبٍ: عَلَى الْأَمْرِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَالصِّدْقِ فِي الْمَوَاطِنِ وَشَنَآنِ الْفَاسِقِينَ»؛ و جهاد از ميان آنها بر چهار گونه است: امر به ‌معروف و نهي ‌از ‌منكر، راستي در گفتار، و دشمني بدكاران. حضرت در اين كلام به شرح مبسوط ركن چهارم ايمان مي‌پردازد.

This paper is a commentary on the noble statements of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (PBUH) regarding the characteristics of the real Shiites. His holiness has placed faith on four pillars and foundations, which are: patience, certainty, justice and jihad. In previous papers, we described the first three pillars and the relationship between these four pillars and their effect on strengthening faith. Now we will examine and interpret the fourth pillar i.e. jihad from the perspective of that Imam. In this regard, his holiness says: and among them, jihad is of four types: enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, truth in speech, and hostility to the wicked. In this speech, the Imam gives a detailed description of the fourth pillar of faith.
