بررسي نقش پيشراني حكيم سيّد اسماعيل جرجاني در انتقال طب ايراني از سده‌‌هاي ميانه به دوره‌‌هاي بعد

Investigating the pioneering role of Hakim Sayyed Isma'il Jurjani in transferring Iranian Medicine from the middle ages to later periods

سيّد اسماعيل جرجاني (434 تا 531 ه‍.ق)، در ميان دانشمندان طب ايراني، جايگاه و نقش ممتازي دارد. از آن جهت كه آثارش ارزشمند و بر پزشكان پس از او تأثيرگذار است و از سويي ديگر او سنت نگارش كتاب طبي به زبان فارسي را به حد كمال رساند. معرفي اين حكيم بزرگ ايراني، مي‌تواند آغازگر پژوهش‌هاي نوين دربارۀ شخصيت و آثار اين چهرۀ درخشان و بهره‌مندي از آثار گران‌سنگش به‌ويژه در عرصۀ علم پزشكي باشد. روش تحقيق در اين پژوهش، روش تاريخي با رويكرد توصيفي‌ـ‌‌ تحليلي و شيوۀ گردآوري مطالب به‌صورت كتابخانهاي با تكيه بر كتب ذخيرۀ خوارزمشاهي، الاغراض الطبّيه و المباحث العلائيه، يادگار، خُفي علايي و زبده الطب و ساير منابع دانشمندان طب ايراني و منابع معتبر تاريخ پزشكي انجام شده و بر آن است تا به نقش سيّد اسماعيل جرجاني در تحول طب ايراني و انتقال اين ميراث گران‌بها به نسل‌هاي بعدي بپردازد. سيّد اسماعيل جرجاني در ميانۀ راه پرفرازونشيب طب ايراني قرار دارد. نتيجۀ اين پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه بسياري از دانشمندان طب ايراني كه پس از جرجاني پا به عرصۀ وجود گذاشتند متأثر از آثار و شيوۀ نگارش او هستند. با توجه به نگاه كلي‌نگر و دقت‌ِنظر اين دانشمند ايراني، چه‌بسا با مطالعات دقيقتر در آثار او و كشف ذخاير علمي مربوطه و مقايسۀ آن با متون علمي طب رايج، بتوان افق جديدي فرا روي محققان گشود و مطالب جديدي در درمان بيماري‌ها ارائه كرد.

Sayyed Isma'il Jurjani (434-531 AH) has a special position and role among Persian medical scientists. This is because his works are valuable and have influenced the doctors after him. Moreover, he perfected the tradition of writing medical books in Persian. Introduction of this great Iranian sage can be the beginning of new research on the personality and works of this brilliant figure and the benefit of his precious works, especially in the field of medical science. This research has been performed with a review, descriptive and library approach based on the books of Zakhireye Khwarazmshahi, Al-Aghraḍ al-Ṭibbiyah wa al-Mabahith al-Alaiyah, Yadegar, Khofi Alayee and Zubdah al-Tibb and other sources of Persian Medicine and valid sources in medical history. It intends to comprehensively and undeniably address the role of Jurjani in guiding Iranian medicine to the path of excellence and the development and transmission of this precious heritage to future generations. Sayyed Isma'il Jurjani is in the middle of the ups and downs of Iranian medicine. The result of this research shows that many Iranian medical scientists who came into existence after Jurjani are influenced by his works and writing style. Considering the holistic view and accuracy of this Iranian scientist, perhaps a new horizon can be opened for researchers and new topics be presented in treatment of diseases, with more detailed studies in his works to discover knowledge and compare them with scientific texts of conventional medicine.
