An Analysis of the Structure and Content of the Novel "Souls and Lusts" by Reza Shabahari

رمان نفس‌ها و هوس‌ها نوشته رضا شابهاري از رمان‌هاي مثبت نگرِ جنگِ تحميلي دهه شصت است كه محور اصلي آن را طرح نوستالژيك ارزش‌ها در برابر تغيير و تعارض فرهنگي در دو برهه زماني قبل از انقلاب و بعد از انقلاب تشكيل مي‌دهد. نويسنده با ارائه روايت خطّي شكل از نظر زاويه‌ديد و توصيفات واقعي از جهان بيروني، توانسته جامعه ايران ِزمانِ انقلاب و جنگ را به‌خوبي به تصوير بكشد. اين مقاله با روشي توصيفي - تحليلي، به هدف شناساندن رمان نفس‌ها و هوس‌ها به‌عنوان يكي از رمان‌هاي برگزيده جنگ كه كمتر موردتوجه پژوهشگران قرار گرفته‌است؛ مي‌كوشد عناصر مهم ساختاري و محتوايي آن را براي نخستين بار تحليل و بررسي كند. بر طبق اين جستار، در اين رمان دو جامعه توصيف مي‌شود: جامعه جنگي و جامعه شهر. داستان به سبب شكل كاملاً رئاليستي خود، صحنه‌هاي نمادين ندارد. از ديگر دستاوردهاي اين پژوهش عبارت است از: صحنه‌پردازي‌هاي توأم با تشبيه و استعاره همراه با كلام جدّي و موقّر نويسنده با چاشني اعتقادات مذهبي و تقسيم جامعه تهران به دو شخصيت بالاشهر و پايين‌شهر و به‌تبع آن برخاستن قهرمان از پايين‌شهر و ضد قهرمان از بالاي شهر، تقدّس و احترام به شهدا و رزمندگان از مهم‌ترين اركان مردم‌شناسي رمان نفس‌ها و هوس‌ها است.

The Novel Souls and Lusts by Reza Shabahari is one of the Positive Novels of the Imposed war of the Sixtie, Main Axis of which is the Nostalgic Design of Values Against cultural Change and Conflict at two Pre-Revolutionary and Post-revolution Stages. By Presenting a Linear Narrative in Terms of Perspective and Real Descriptions of the Outside World, the Author has been able to Portray the Iranian Society of the Time of the Revolution and the War Well. This Article, with a Descriptive-analytical Method, Aims to Introduce the Novel of Souls and Lusts as one of the Selected Novels of War that has Received less Attention from Researchers; tries to Analyze the Important Structural and Content Elements for the first Time. According to this essay, in this Novel two Societies are Described: war Society and city Community. The Story does not have Symbolic Scenes due to its Completely Realistic form. Other Achievements of this Research are: Scenes with Similes and Metaphors along with the Serious and Dignified Words of the author with a Spice of Religious beliefs and the Division of Tehran Society into two Characters Uptown and Slams and Consequently the hero Rises from the bottom of the city and the anti-hero from theU, sanctity and Respect for martyrs and Warriors, which is one of the most Important Anthropological Pillars of the Novel of Souls and Desires.
