در مورد معناي «علم‌الكتاب» و مصداق «من عنده علم‌الكتاب» كه در آيه 43 سوره رعد به‌عنوان گواه رسالت پيامبر اسلام(ص) معرفي شده است، در ميان مفسران، اختلاف نظرهايي وجود دارد و احتمالات و مصاديق متعددي براي آن ذكر شده كه برخي از اين احتمالات با محتواي سوره و مكي بودن آن سازگار نيست. هدف پژوهش نيز اثبات اين نكته است كه مصداق بارز «من عنده علم‌الكتاب»، ايمه معصومين(ع) هستند و اين‌كه آن‌ها از تمام علوم، حقايق و پديده‌هاي عالم به‌جز آن‌چه مخصوص علم غيب الاهي است، باخبرند. سوال اصلي پژوهش اين است كه معنا و مصداق حقيقي علم‌الكتاب چيست و اهل بيت(ع) در مقايسه با ديگران به چه ميزان از علم‌الكتاب بهره‌مندند؟ يافته‌هاي پژوهش كه با روش توصيفي– تحليلي انجام شده، نشان مي‌دهد كه با محور قرار دادن آيات ابتدايي سوره زخرف، چهار احتمال قابل طرح است كه عبارتند از: علم به كتب آسماني، علم به قرآن به‌طور خاص، علم به لوح محفوظ و آگاهي از اسم اعظم الاهي. احتمال اول، صحيح نيست و سه احتمال ديگر با يكديگر قابل جمع بوده و هركدام، مراتب مختلف يك حقيقت را دارا بوده و علي(ع) و فرزندان مطهر ايشان آگاه‌ترين مردم به علم‌الكتاب هستند.

Regarding the meaning of "Elmo'l-Kitab" and the example of "Who has knowledge about the book" which is introduced in verse 43 of Surah Ra'd as a proof of the mission of the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him and his family); There are some different opinion among commentators and several possibilities and examples have been mentioned for it, some of which are not compatible with the content of the surah and its Meccan nature. The purpose of this study is to prove that the Imams of the Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them) are a clear example of "I am the knowledge of the Book" and that they are aware of all the sciences, facts and phenomena of the world except that which is specific to the knowledge of the divine unseen. The main question of this research is: what is the true meaning and example "Elmo'l- Kitab" and to what extent do the Ahlul-Bayt (PBUH) benefit from "Elmo'l- Kitab" compared to others? Findings of the research conducted by descriptive-analytical method show that by focusing on the first verses of Surah Zukhruf, four correct possibilities can be proposed, which are: Knowledge of the heavenly books, knowledge of the Qur'an in particular, knowledge of the guarded tablet and knowledge of the great divine name. The first possibility is not correct, and the other three possibilities can be added together, and each of them has different levels of truth, and Ali (pbuh) and his holy children are the most knowledgeable people in the "Elmo'l- Kitab".
