An investigation of job satisfaction of agricultural graduates in different branches and the factors effective (Case Study: Agricultural college of Ferdowsi University of Mashad)

In order to assess the how much the agricultural graduates are satisfied with their jobs and also investigate the factors effective on this, a questionnaire was prepared and sent to groduates who have completed their university studies between 1976 and 1996 from the faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Ferdowsi University of Mashad. The results based on the analysis of 551 completed questionnaires showed that 48. 7% of the respondents were satisfied with their jobs at an acceptable level. Also there was a significant relationship between the occupational status (in agricultural or non - agricultural sector) and the amount of the job satisfaction of the person. This was while there was not any relation between the average grades, the year of entrance to the university and the amount of the job satisfaction.
