Psychological and Cultural Evaluation of Short Term Training Courses in the Field of Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection for Public Sector

In order to study the cultural and psychological impacts of short-term training course in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection for public sector, history and philosophy of environmental protection and energy conservation have been studied , then different types of education methods have been reviewed. "Reading" method has been selected for this training, so specific booklets have been prepared for public. These booklets are in two separate fields of energy conserbvation and environmental protection. The topics in the environmental protection booklet consist of air, noise pollution, water, soil, biodiversity and sustainable development and the topics of energy conservation booklet include energy definition, types of energy and energy conservation guidelines for public. For evaluation of the training, specific environmental and energy conservation questionnaires have been designed for cultural and psychological evaluation. 3a Statistical sample is selected from residents in Tehran District 22. The questionnaires have been Completed before Training and it was agam complated after training. The questionnaires have been analyzed by SPSS 11.0 software. In order to cultural and psychological evaluation of the training course, two statistical tests have been done which are McNemar test and Paired T Test. The result of McNemar test shows of that this test was significant in all questions about environmental and energy conservation excepts water questions and was stainable question and peopleʹs view has been changed in the field of environmental protection and energy conservation. For generalization of each section of questionnaires , Paired T Test has been used. This Test in all sections of questionnaires was significant Therefore, the training course has affected the peopleʹs view in the field of environmental protection and energy conservation.
