Biography and criticism of traditionists and its bibliology

Islamic sciences are constructed according to Koranic teachings, and traditions allied to infallibles, that are obvious explanations, can be used to explain its verses. Relying the traditions needs that their truth or untruth to be examined by the tools of biograghy and criticism of traditionalists. Each kind of Islamic sciences, according to some reasons need to understand and observe biography and criticism of traditionists in the area of traditionology. In the beginning of the acquaintance of the Shiʹits with traditions, these books were written along with the words on knowing the authorities, and the compilation of such books has continued up to now. Examination and comparing these books which are among the reference works show that, they have sometimes unique characteristics and sometimes common characteristics. From the common characteristics classification of issues and also contents of the books can be mentioned. This article introduces first-hand resources and references in the field of Islamic studies especially Iranian resources.
