چكيده لاتين :
Any organization needs efficient and professional personnel with an identifiable range of responsibilities, knowledge and skills, to achieve its objectives. These responsibilities, skills, and knowledge are a set of indicators which are included in a document named "job description" . Therefore any employee should know the domain of his/her responsibilities through a special job description. This case, in the library - one of the most important active organizations of the society - is very important. Nevertheless, only in some libraries and information centers in Iran, there exist a job description corresponded with job description preparation model and new technologies. Therefore, it seems necessary that any related organization should analyze the different jobs in the libraries and information centers and compile job descriptions for different ranges of librarians corresponded with the new needs of workplace and give them to the librarians and information specialists.
