The digital librarian

Information and communication technologies has changed working environment of the librarians. Traditional librarians should undertake new functions, proportional with the current needs, at the new environment. This article discusses about digital librarian his/her objectives and the roles that academic librarians should play at network environment. And the end, it will be recognized that the present changes will be counted as an opportunity not threat.
