Teaching and learning information technology skills through training courses

Technology should be summarized. Information and communication have caused challenges for policy-makers, headmasters, teachers, and students in all sections of education. Recognition of potential abilities of these technologies in improvement of educational activities is among these challenges. Information and communication technology is effective in the way of teaching and studentsʹ learning. These influences are successful, if learners have the ability to use these technologies. Scientists found that, the approach of combining skills of information and communication technology with curriculum, is more effective than teaching them separately. They also found that information skills can combine with curriculum effectively, when: I) skills to be related directly to the contents of the courses and course assignments; and 2) skills to he fabricated logically in systematic information model. One of the adopted approaches to cope with the information needs that have been compiled effectively and functionally is six-factored model. This model is a suitable one to create a suitable ground for learning information literacy. This article along with studying influences of information and communication technologies on curriculum, studies six-factored model.
