This study focuses on making apparent perspective of the librarians of the National Library of Iran about influence of using bibliographic databanks (including National bibliography of Iran, British national bibliography, National union catalog, MARC and also Internet) on the range of functionality and their job satisfaction in the year 2002. in this article influence of increase in using information technology on increase in functionality, training, communication, job satisfaction, salary, job honor, job promotion, professional awareness, speed in work, discipline, simplicity, complication, work attraction, increase in leisure time, range of management observation on their works, and preference of modem technologies to manual systems has been studied. Research findings show that obtaining professional awareness factor with about 97.8 percent has the highest increase and factors containing job honor, job promotion, and salary each with the range of 3 and 2 percent have the lowest increase.
