A contemplate on the invention of paper

Chinese were the first nation who succeeded to make paper at the begirning of the 2nd century A.D. According to the book written by Armin Renker of Germany Iranians are the second Nation- after chinese-who achieved paper- making industry. At the past time hand- made papers had watermarks which were reliable source for distinguishing place and time of production. Imported and foreign papers of the manuscripts and printed books of the Ghajar Dynasty have watermarks that showʹs stagnation of paper industry at this period, in Iran. Gradual increase of paper demand at west caused the invention of paper-making machine. using this kind of technology caused a: big gap between paper- making profession at East and west.
