Knowledge management a tool to create transformation in library management

This article pays attention to recent transformations in library and information sciences profession, especially usage of new technologies, and challenges librarians are faced to develop changes in libraries and align with it from management point of view. Using knowledge management to create transformation is the main theme of this article. The features of the present society, its problems, challenges in libraries and the way managers can use to overcome these challenges are other discussions of this article. At the end practical suggestions for using knowledge management in libraries management are offered.
