A New Look at the Classification of the Non-Fiction in Childrenʹs Literature

The book "A passing in childrenʹs literature" is among the books that discuss the basic concepts of children and young adultsʹ literature exhaustively. The book has been reissued for at least five times and has formed the framework for a book entitled "children and young adultsʹ literature: characteristics and aspects" published in the year 1374 for the first time and now is reaching its sixth impression. The following article poses the question whether the classification used for non-fictions in "A passing in childrenʹs literature" and consequently in "Children and young adultʹs literature: characteristics and aspects" is as precise as necessary and if not, which classification should replace it. To do that, the topical groups presented in the two books and then, the probable overlapping rate of the groups are studied. A new classification for non-fictions is presented at the final stage.
