An evaluation of human resources at kermanshah university libraries and comparing them against standards for university libraries

The aim of this research was to study the present status of University libraries in Kermanshah and Comparing them to the ideal conditions. Human resoures, both professional and non-professional, were surveysd at the 12 libraries using a questionnaire.G athered Data was campared againt standards for university libraries. Findings show That, out of 84 librarians, 49 people (%58) had library education and 35 people (%42) were nonprofessional. According to standards, these libraries need 145 librarians to overcome lack of professional humun resources. The only library having enough librarians above standards was the Central Library.
