چكيده لاتين :
Actinomycosis is an indolent progressive anaerobic bacterial infection. About twenty percent of infections are in abdomen. In this study, we describe an unusual case that is confined to liver and spleen. A 39 years old man who Presented with abdominal pain for 8 months. Lab investigations showed elevated alkaline phosphatase. Abdominal C.T. Scan revealed mixed space occupying lesions posterior to spleen. Laparotomy was done. Splenectomy and liver biopsy performed. Histopathologic investigations revealed spleen and liver actinomycotic abscesses. His postoperative course was uneventful and discharagd with oral penicillin.
