Pigmented Ganglioneuroblastoma, Case Report

Ganglioneuroblastomas are malignant neoplasms that differentiate more than neuroblastomas but lower than ganglioneuromas. These occur more frequently in children commonly along the symphatic chain but rarely outside of it. Clinical and Radiologic findings can not differentiate these tumors from another benign and malignant tumors of the same site. Definite diagnosis is achieved by histopathologic examination. We report a rare case of ganglioneuroblastoma in a 16 years old girl associated clinically with growth and sexual retardation and microscopically with diffuse brown pigmentation. A brief literature review is also considered.
