چكيده لاتين :
American foreign policy is shaped by normative principles and its political culture. Theoretical point of view in this article is that culture, ideas, economic and military interests are the instruments of foreign policy debate, setting out positions, rationales and strategies. In this article we study the interdependence of economic, cultural, and military considerations in American foreign policy. For the purposes of this study we shall succinctly review the matter of a "new world order" as the issue appeared when three different security counselors were in under successive administrations, viz. Henry Kissinger (under Nixon and Ford), Zhigniew Brzezinski (under Carter) and Brent Scowcraft (under Bush). Within this framework, we shall also present George Bushʹs definition of the "New World order". We shall then discuss American foreign policy more specifically, takind into account the American concept of a "New World order" by examining three specific examples of American foreign policy, namely the crisis in the Persian Gulf, the Middle East peace conference, and the U.S. intervention in Somalia and Afghanistan.
