Necessity of using pilots plants by chemical engineers before designing industrial plants

In this paper. different aspects of a pilot plant are investigated. The main purpose of this investigation is to obtain design and construction procedures, basic rules in the start-up, cost, types, optimum scale selection, and safety aspect also construction materials and location and the following items are emphasized. I- Close co-operative between chemical engineers and chemists farm the beginning of pilot plant activity. 2- Reducing of construction and operation of an industrial/plant costs with construction of pilot plants. 3- Optimum scale selection of pilot plant. 4- Safety aspects on design, construction and operation of pilot plants
